PETALING JAYA: Genting Singapore plc will seek the approval of its shareholders for the proposed divestment of the company’s casino operations in the United Kingdom at an EGM scheduled for Aug 18, the company said in a statement.
The company added that following the recent opening of two new casinos in Portsmouth and Reading respectively, its UK casino operations now comprised 46 casinos.
All 46 casinos would be subject to the proposed divestment
